🗣️ Capcut Accent Identifier

Creating video content online with my voice has been a humbling experience. This is especially true when generating captions on CapCut, as sometimes the words I say don't even closely match what the AI captures. For instance, I might say "instantly," but the generated caption shows "and just like that." Thanks for keeping me humble, CapCut!

This got me thinking: What If... CapCut had an accent-recognition feature. Upon onboarding, it could ask users to read certain words out loud to learn their speaking style and improve transcription accuracy.

I have a feeling that Siri already uses something like this. And if Siri, of all AI devices, can do it, what's stopping other platforms from following suit? This improvement could save me a lot of time editing videos and correcting words I didn't say.
