DeL'est - Cultural Festival - Brand Identity

Overview

De L'est (From the East) is a cultural festival inspired by Dell'Oriente, an event showcasing various cultures. De L'est specifically focuses on East Asian cultures (China, Japan, and Korea). We aim to create a space where art, music, and performances from Japan, China, and Korea harmoniously blend, inspiring curiosity, learning, and appreciation for the unique heritage of these nations. Through this festival, we strive to promote understanding, unity, and the celebration of diverse cultures, bringing people together through the universal language of art.

Project Strategy

In this case, our current objective is how we portray these three countries (China, Japan, and Korea). Then, we realized that these three countries share many similarities, from their writing systems, ceremonies, traditional clothing, music, to their daily activities. After identifying this commonality, we found that the key brand strategy keyword derived from communication with the brand was: "How do we showcase their traditional daily cultures to the world?".
