30 Days of Landing Page Hero Mastery

Hey 👋🏻all!

Just wrapped up a crazy 30-day challenge🔥 on Square.One, tackling the art of the landing page hero section! And let me tell you, it's been a wild 🚀 ride of exploration and learning.

We dove deep into crafting 20+ unique hero sections across different styles from sleek and modern to playful and unconventional. Think finance with a futuristic vibe, fashion with a touch of whimsy, and everything in between!

This challenge wasn't just about aesthetics - it was about mastering the fundamentals. I learned the importance of layout and hierarchy, how to use typography and the power of colour to set the mood. Monochromatic minimalism? Neubrutalist boldness? We explored it all!

This challenge also taught me the importance of following industry standards and best practices for designing landing pages that convert & be effective. Clear and compelling headlines, strong calls to action, optimised visuals that align with your brand, gaze theory.… I learned how to create landing pages that capture attention and drive results.

The real game-changer? The incredible feedback from the Square.one experts Adam Moučka and Abdul Sayeed Khan ! Their expert guidance helped me see my designs in a whole new light, developing a serious eye for detail. I learned to assess my work with a critical yet creative lens, pushing my skills to the next level. Being a pro user of the Square.One is like having a design sensei 🫡 always guiding along the way! Bonus: Conquering Sketch - While Figma has been my go-to design tool, I've always wanted to explore Sketch. This challenge was the perfect opportunity to dive in! I was pleasantly surprised by how smoothly I transitioned. I learned the ins and outs of Sketch seamlessly, and it's now a valuable tool in my design toolkit.

Leveling Up with Photo editing and AI - Beyond design tools, I also had the chance to explore photo editing techniques and the power of AI-generated images. These skills added a whole new dimension to my landing page designs, allowing me to create visually stunning and engaging visuals that capture attention and drive conversions.
