Summer Movie Nights | Concept 02
I partnered with a local neighborhood management company to design a comprehensive visual identity for their annual Summer Movie Nights series, a community-wide event bringing neighbors together to enjoy popular films across multiple locations.
This concept embraces a vibrant, playful aesthetic with bold, neon colors that give some serious 80s/90s vibes. A simple, skewed logo complements the energetic palette without overpowering it, and also giving a subtle nod to the Blockbuster logo. Key design elements can also serve as framing devices (i.e. Nachooo), with all angles aligned to create a dynamic sense of movement throughout any composition.
I added a ribbon to the abbreviated mark to continue to give movement and dimension. Subtle layering of shapes introduces a depth to the otherwise flat design, creating a more engaging and dynamic visual experience.
