Tango Tee-Shirt Project (personal work)
I'm an avid tango dancer and bandoneonist, and at the time I drew this series, there were no t-shirts available to celebrate the great composers and orchestras of the Golden Era of tango. I created a fileteado-style frame, with a space for the subject's name and instrument, and drew a series of portraits. I've probably sold a thousand of these in the last few years on RedBubble! I love seeing them turn up in pictures on social media in tango dances from Moscow to Utah.
