Youtube Studio Video Trim UI Design

YouTube Studio is an incredible tool for creators, but as a YouTube channel manager, I noticed some pain points in the video editor that impacted the user experience:

1️⃣ Chunky Cut Handles: The cut area’s handles are too bulky, making it difficult to pinpoint exact start and endpoints. I often had to zoom in and use the audio waves just to track my position. This really slowed down the editing process.

2️⃣ Timeline Length Confusion: After cutting a section, the video timeline doesn’t adjust. The timeline length stays the same, forcing you to scroll through the empty-cut sections just to continue editing.

💡 Here’s my solution:🔹 Slim down the cut handles for precise editing.🔹 Hide the cut sections to reduce the timeline length, giving users a clear view of their editing progress.
