Swap - UI/UX Bootcamp Project
This is a trading app concept I ideated and designed with two fellow designers, Erik Palacios and Ivana Milencovici, during a UI/UX bootcamp. Feedback is appreciated!
Here’s the style guide I designed. The color palette, inspired by wildflowers, represents community and collaboration.
This is the desktop version of the coaching screen we designed in Figma.
This is an event page we designed in Figma to effectively showcase the concept of trade events.
This is a profile page we designed. The three icons in the bio represent the user's top three trading interests, highlighting what they wish to trade and receive from others.
These wireframes showcase the 'Favorites' and 'Swap It Later' pages. The 'Favorites' tab allows users to save products they might want to trade in the future, while 'Swap It Later' offers a quick access point for items they initially passed on. If I were to redesign this project, I would focus solely on 'Swap It Later' to simplify the user experience, as the name adds charm and clarity.
Finally, here’s the homepage we designed. We opted for a photo-centric layout with minimal text to enhance user browsing. Multiple categories (some not shown) were added based on user research to meet diverse trading needs.
I really enjoyed designing and ideating this project and look forward to future projects focused on helping others. If you're interested in looking at the complete case study, click here to visit my portfolio!
