The Seven Deadly "-tions"

of Healthcare Disruption

The brief was to design a set of “tarot cards” to be used at a press dinner where Zocdoc’s founder, Oliver Kharraz, would talk about the common landmines that have imploded so many other health tech companies.

My objective was to build the cards as a system so they looked like a true tarot set when all together. I achieved this by first researching different kinds of tarot symbolism, and letting that inform the design as I conceived the imagery for each “-tion” card.
