Summer Movie Nights | Concept 01
I partnered with a local neighborhood management company to design a comprehensive visual identity for their annual Summer Movie Nights series, a community-wide event bringing neighbors together to enjoy popular films across multiple locations.
This concept draws inspiration from the golden age of Hollywood, utilizing muted colors to evoke a sense of sophistication and nostalgia. The design pairs well with halftone patterns, allowing for cohesive visual elements across different movie titles. By applying a halftone filter to any still from a featured film, the series achieves a timeless, unified aesthetic. The chosen color palette also offers versatile contrast options, enabling key design elements to stand out and adapt seamlessly to various contexts.
To ensure scalability, I developed a versatile identity system consisting of three marks: a full wordmark and two simplified monograms—one enclosed in an oval and the other standalone. This flexible approach allows the branding to adapt across various platforms while maintaining both readability and brand recognition in any context.
