Trying out some logo tweaks

I'm not a logo designer so it's difficult to know where to start! Just trying to tweak our current one a little as we now do a little more in terms of sponsoring meetups etc so looking to try and create something simple still but that can be easily recognised and also broken into a little mark/icon if necessary.
