Photography Manipulation Project: I Miss...

University Project. It's inspired and manipulated to appear nostalgic of a time that we've lived before. Heavily applied manipulation, using Photoshop and filters.

The lens places a lot of emphasis on parts of the body that do not incorporate the face. Pantyhose represent that barrier that that person has not yet crossed, which is why the vibrant colors on their legs and the rest look opaque and cold. There are no signs of the character's features, since, in childhood memories, one often forgets faces. If not, he focuses on what surrounds him, what he steps on. The cold flash symbolizes that, the need to freeze the desire we long for. That there are some stuffed animals or glitters allude to the same feeling of childishness.
