Website Launch for Desierto Rojo in 3 Days: My Process
A few weeks ago, I was approached by Desierto Rojo, a band looking for a website to support the launch of their new music video — the catch? They needed everything ready in just three days! The pressure was on, but I was ready to deliver.
The first step was a quick but thorough conversation where I asked the right questions to understand exactly what they needed. This included exploring how they wanted the site to look, whether they already had any brand assets ready, and other essential details to make the vision clear. Once I gathered all the necessary information, I got straight to work with some fresh wireframes in Figma.
Then I began designing and developing the site directly in Webflow, utilizing assets as they were provided.
The whole process, from gathering initial requirements to handing over the final product, was smooth but intense due to the tight timeline. Over the course of those three days, I:
• Managed client communication to ensure every element of the site aligned with their vision.
• Designed a quick wireframe in Figma to sketch out the UI and user flow.
• Built the final site in Webflow.
• Integrated custom elements using JavaScript where necessary.
• Assisted with domain purchase, hosting setup, and preparing for the big launch.
On the day of the launch, I set up the countdown timer to align the website with the music video release at 3 PM. The project was fast-paced but incredibly rewarding to see live on time.
If you’re looking for someone to help bring your project to life, even under tight deadlines, let’s connect!
