Re-branding Project | The Dot Lady

Terri was awarded one of several branding vouchers to use with an online marketing professional through a grant awarded to MainStreet TorC in the spring/summer of 2024

...and she just happened to select me!

Throughout a few weeks, Terri and I used inspiration from her older logo to create a modern logo that incorporated her signature art style - dots! - and favorite color - peacock.

The Dot Lady hosts many painting workshops throughout New Mexico and has art work for sale in Truth or Consequences, NM as well, so keeping true to those elements was important.

Part of her package included business cards, updated class instructions and an opening flyer.

Per the Local Economic Assistance & Development Support (LEADS) High-quality, dedicated re-branding graphics (or new branding kits) can be costly and often marketing can be the last thing a small business has a budget for. With amazing resources, like Canva, folks with a little creativity can also do their own graphics, logos and fun digital assets.

More than 70% of small businesses now have websites and/or social media accounts, up drastically in the last 5 years. However...almost half of all consumers still say they'll leave a site immediately if they feel it's poorly designed.
