Who in the world am I? Ah, that's the great puzzle.
From time to time, this question haunts me...
A few months ago, I stepped down from my role as lead designer at an Ed Tech company to focus on more personal projects and pursue new dreams.
Looking back on my career, I realised that I've worked across various fields of design, taking on different roles along the way. Sure, I’m a designer, but I’ve worn so many hats that it’s hard to define myself with just one word. Even my projects are so varied, ranging from web design to branding, with the occasional foray into editorial work.
Now that I’m seeking new challenges and exploring projects I’ve kept tucked away for too long, I find myself asking, “What ties it all together?” What’s the fil rouge that connects all my work? I’ve come to realise that while I am a designer, there’s a common thread running through everything I do—storytelling.
No matter the medium, the process, or the final outcome, I’ve always been a designer who uses storytelling to craft unique experiences, create original projects, and stay inspired. So yes, I am a designer and a storyteller. Not just someone who tells stories, but someone who believes in the power of storytelling to transform other people's lives and perspectives!
