UX/UI Portfolio Design – Study Project
Welcome to my design journey!
This project allowed me to dive into the art of storytelling through design, focusing on creating an engaging and professional "About me" page for a UX/UI designer's portfolio
Goal
This project was part of my UX/UI design course, where the goal was to create the "About Me" page for a portfolio website, imagining that I had five years of experience working with medium and large business clients. The challenge was to design a page that conveys a balance of professionalism, creativity, and personal connection, while also including a contact form for easy communication.
Solution
My solution was a modern, clean, and minimalist portfolio design, focusing on large visuals. The "About me" page was designed to be both informative and personal, helping visitors connect with the designer's story.
Typography and colors
For typography, I utilized Noto Serif Display for headlines, adding an elegant touch, and paired it with Noto Sans for body text to ensure readability and a modern feel. This combination allows for a balanced aesthetic that reflects my design philosophy.
In my design, I chose a palette that embodies both professionalism and creativity. The soft lavender serves as the primary color, providing a calm and inviting atmosphere. Complemented by a muted green and a deep dark hue, this color scheme enhances the visual appeal while maintaining clarity.
Website and App Design Briefs
As part of my deep dive into the design process, I developed detailed briefs for both website and app design. Each brief is divided into key sections—introductory information, main features, visual design elements, and additional details. Through this process, I gained valuable insights into how to effectively communicate with clients, ensuring that their needs and expectations are clearly understood from the outset.
Thank you for taking the time to explore my project 🤍
