Vector Illustration - Gilius (Golden Axe)

This illustration is a vector illustration work that I made for a quartet game card project sponsored by a retro game community in Indonesia called Jadul Kekinian. I collaborated with several selected senior artists from Indonesia who are also members of the community. In this project, I made a set of cards consisting of 4 illustrations.

My theme is "Beat 'Em Up Heroes", which contains several famous retro game characters from Beat 'Em Up genre games. This is Gilius Thunderhead, one of the main characters from a game called Golden Axe which was famous in the 90s. Gilius is only one of three main character of this game, but he's my favorite!

When I was little, I often played this game on SEGA console machine in my home. I made this illustration myself where I sketched first, then finished using Adobe Illustrator.
