Break The Rules

You can only break the rules after you know them. Let me get personal here: I struggled with brush lettering for a very long time, unable to achieve the look I wanted. It was only after I sat down and learned the golden rules of calligraphy and brush lettering that I was able to increase my skills, and now I’m able to break the rules and find my own style.
