32/32 – Albuquerque Atomics Uniforms

Behind the Stitches

The final team uniform reveal brings us these high-powered threads for the Albuquerque Atomics!

Albuquerque opts for a copper lid with a black facemask paired with the primary "A" logo on both sides of the helmet. The front bumper houses an "ABQ" abbreviation wordmark in turquoise (shorthand for "Albuquerque") while the rear bumper has the primary "Atomics" wordmark in black and outlined in turquoise.

The Atomics have both black and white base colors for the uniform top. There isn't an official home and away designation as this team will often where white at home early in the season in an open-roofed stadium in New Mexico. The jerseys incorporate a shoulder stripe that begins just above the back nameplate and hugs the sleeve seam as it tapers to a point at collar triangle, resulting in one for the more dynamic looking uniforms in the UFL. This stripe is copper on both jerseys but trimmed in black on the white top and turquoise on the black top. With this design occupying the shoulders, the numbers have been bumped to the sleeves. The secondary "ABQ" logo is patched on the right chest.

Copper-colored pants reflect the helmet as the primary option, though the Atomics have black and white base colors in the wardrobe as well. A similar stripe to the shoulder runs the length of the pant legs – beginning at the sock line and tapering to a point just below the hip where the secondary "ABQ" logo resides.

The jersey number set incorporates visual cues from both wordmark styles, but in a much more reserved manner. Its drastically simplified and is much less heavy-handed, a better fit for the contours of the jersey space.

These mockups were made with a modified and retextured Madden 20 on PC. The in-game screenshots were then used to create a composition in Photoshop.
