The Immortal Elixir Mission
In the year 21xx, Chang’E, an elite agent known as Hare, is assigned by the organization Lunar Eclipse to locate and secure the Elixir of Immortality. This legendary artifact from the past is believed to possess the power to grant eternal life to anyone who consumes it. However, in a cyberpunk world rife with intrigue and corruption, the elixir has become a coveted prize for many power-hungry factions.
Overview
This project is specifically crafted to celebrate the Mooncake Festival by offering a unique interpretation of the legendary character Chang’E. In this rendition, Chang’E is portrayed as an agent set against a backdrop of a high-tech, modern, and futuristic cyberpunk world. The design blends traditional elements from Chang’E's story with the distinctive futuristic flair of the cyberpunk genre, creating a harmonious fusion of classic culture and contemporary aesthetics.
Character Design
The character design of Chang’E draws inspiration from various references related to her journey as the Moon Goddess. The inclusion of the rabbit icon symbolizes the connection between Chang’E and the rabbit. The color palette, featuring white and pink, is chosen for its symbolic meanings of purity, femininity, and good fortune, all of which resonate with the essence of Chang’E itself.
To improve our design efficiently, we developed a poster and t-shirt design that features two colors: black and white.
