Archie - Paris La Défense
We build a sustainable and scalable web application to provide a single access point for events and cultural activities in the La Défense area.
The purpose was to create Archie's visual identity and building a PWA capable of hosting a varied number and type of events.
Creation of Archie's identity
We did a naming’s workshop with the client to find a sympathetic identity for this PWA: Archie, who refers to the Arche of La Défense, the architecture of the district, and the slightly fun offbeat side which refers to the party and the discovery of events. Then we did a moodboard, and iteration phases, to find the right balance between its own identity and the reuse of the PLD charter: our goal was to be consistent with the Paris la Défense ecosystem, but have its own identity.
Rationalisation to personalise events in an "industrial" way
Then, we created a system for customising certain elements (colours, images, etc.) to differentiate and personalise events from one another, while maintaining an identical base.We didn’t forget the rationalisation of editorial requirements, to create around twenty modules that meet all the needs of organisers, for current and future events, to compose their event pages.We kept in mind a logic of reusability and flexibility to create a back-office system that is agile, meets all editorial needs, and is quick and easy for teams to handle and administer.
Archie, a platform to answer Paris La Défense marketing team needs
The marketing team was first looking to strengthen their links with the Public. Better visibility of the Paris La Défense event calendar and event tracking with notification logic, personalized alerts and user account. Also Archie presents a modern, impactful and dynamic image with animations for this event site which must conquer the hearts of all Ile-de-France residents. Finally, this product will save Paris la Défense teams considerable time when organizing future events, thanks to the creation of a reusable system that allows events to be multiplied and personalized according to a certain degree of freedom.
