Project Overview:
The Finanslabbet Brand Guideline project involved creating a comprehensive visual identity for a finance-tech brand. The client wanted a modern logo that would use the initials F & L and reflect a high-tech, innovative financial theme. While "Labbet" means "lab" in Swedish, the client specifically did not want the brand to be associated with a traditional lab, but rather a forward-thinking financial entity.
Challenges:
👉 Balancing traditional and modern themes: Creating a logo that fused both finance and technology, while steering away from the "lab" association, required careful consideration of symbolism and design elements.
👉 Abstract yet clear design: Translating the initials F & L into a logo that clearly communicated the brand's focus without being overly complex or cliché was another hurdle.
