31/32 – Vegas Devils Uniforms
Behind the Stitches
Runnin' with the Devils! Check out this uniform set for Vegas' UFL team.
The Devils tap in to UFL history with a black-shelled helmet paired with a red facemask – a signature look for the original Phoenix Devils franchise. While the original helmet had devil horns, this iteration features the primary red devil logo on both sides of the helmet. The front bumper displays the "Vegas" wordmark while the "Devils" wordmark is designated to the rear.
Vegas opts for a clean and simple uniform top with three different base colors: black, white, and red. The secondary logo is located on the sleeves and the one-color "Devils" wordmark is placed just below the collar. On the white road top, this wordmark is swapped for the "Vegas" wordmark.
This team has two different pant sets. The white pants incorporate a silver-black-red-black-silver stripe mechanic where the inner-most stripe is larger and the outer stripes act as trim. The black pants are stripeless and feature the primary red devil logo on each hip, reflecting the helmets.
The jersey number set is an extension of the team typography, which is what we'd like to call an "art deco meets 70's horror" aesthetic. With Futura Condensed used as a base, the letterforms are geometric in construction and feature art deco-like qualities but feature small "wisps" or serifs at the end of select horizontal and vertical stems.
These mockups were made with a modified and retextured Madden 20 on PC. The in-game screenshots were then used to create a composition in Photoshop.
