MSX Logistics Application Workflow

MSX Logistics Application Workflow

Problem Statement:

MSX faces a challenge where third-party apps require too many steps to complete an order, frustrating customers. They want to build an app where customers can quickly book a service, select the weight of the item, and schedule a pickup with minimal clicks.

What I Did

Research & Discovery

User Interviews: Conducted interviews with over 10 customers to understand frustrations with the current ordering process. Focus on how the number of steps impacts their user experience.

User Interviews: Conducted interviews with over 10 customers to understand frustrations with the cur

Competitive Analysis: Review other logistics or delivery apps to identify common pain points. Pay attention to the average number of clicks or interactions needed to create account and complete an order and also schedule delivery

Surveys: Ask users what they find difficult about booking and scheduling with other apps and what they expect in a simpler, more streamlined app.

Discovery

Research indicated that users feel overwhelmed by the number of steps required to place an order on existing apps. They desire a faster, more intuitive process that allows them to book services with fewer clicks.

User Persona

John values simplicity. He typically uses delivery apps while multitasking and needs a streamlined process. Sarah, on the other hand, schedules deliveries frequently and wants the ability to complete orders without excessive manual input."

Prototype

Testing & Iteration

Conduct usability testing with real users, paying attention to how many steps they take to complete an order.

During testing, we observed a 40% reduction in the number of clicks compared to third-party apps. Users reported a more enjoyable experience and found the app intuitive.
