Confluence Psychology Alliance Logo

I made a logo for the Confluence Psychology Association at Point Park University in Pittsburgh, PA.

The word "confluence" means "flowing together," either in a convergence of rivers or a coming together of ideas. It also suggests the human state of flux which psychology is concerned with. Coincidentally, Point Park University is named for the geographical point at which the rivers in Pittsburgh come together.

The mark I created combines the converging rivers of Pittsburgh with the Greek letter Psi, the symbol for psychology.
