Daily UI challenge 009-Music player

Hello everyone! :)

For today’s challenge, I wanted to keep three key things in mind: simplicity, easy navigation, and the understanding that users want to enjoy their music, not struggle with how the app works.

At first, I considered designing just the 'Now Playing' screen, but then I thought—what about all the other screens users interact with just as frequently? To understand the flow and determine where each element fits, I decided to zoom out and concentrate on those key interactions.

With the goal of ensuring that users can effortlessly navigate the app while focusing on their music experience without getting lost in too many details, here are some steps I took:

  1. Built a tab bar featuring the four most important functions.

  2. Added a search bar for quick access to songs and playlists.

  3. Placed essential controls for the current song at the bottom—play, pause, skip.

  4. Included a progress indicator so users can see how far along they are in a track. I also included basic song info: track name and artist.

  5. Chosen a high contrast mode to keep the design clean and enhance accessibility.

  6. Used an accent color to highlight key actions, like the "play" button and the song progress bar, making them stand out.
