I was approached by a good friends and frequent collaborator, Eric Pasi to come up with the logo and overall vibe for his band; Palms Psalm. It’s easily one of my favorite branding projects from the last few years. The goal was to infuse a pacific island aesthetic to match their sound; a mix of contemporary alternative/surf rock with with traditional Hawaiian and Tongan music, all underpinned with a prescient message for our times. I designed the Palms Psalm logo with a slightly modified version of Venice Blvd Font from Hoodzpah! A versatile font with tons of character. I highly recommend it. You can purchase it right on the Hoodzpah site, or download it from Adobe Fonts.
