Dampers In The Coal-Fired Plants Infographic
Client Objective
The client aimed to create a technical infographic that visually explains the anatomy of a coal-fired plant and the various types of dampers used within it. The primary goal was to present this complex system in a clear and informative way using data visualization techniques.
Design Solution
To achieve the client's objective, I structured the infographic into two main sections. The first section, titled "Anatomy of a Coal-Fired Plant," showcases a detailed schematic of the plant’s structure, allowing viewers to understand its various components at a glance. The second section focuses on "Types of Dampers" and features six custom-drawn, isometric technical illustrations to highlight the key differences between each type of damper. A calm blue color palette was used throughout to ensure clarity and avoid overwhelming the viewer. Green accents were strategically added to highlight essential parts of the main schematic. This approach resulted in an educational and visually appealing infographic, successfully conveying technical information without clutter.
