30/32 – Denver Avengers Uniforms

Behind the Stitches

The Denver Avengers go for bold with their unique uniform set.

Their helmet is silver-shelled and paired with a black facemask and Denver's primary bighorn sheep logo is showcased on either side. Their "Denver" city name wordmark occupies the space on the front bumper, while the "Avengers" team name wordmark is relegated to the back.

The jersey tops have base color options of the Avengers' dark aquamarine, black, and white. The sleeves incorporate two wedge-shaped stacked stripes that bleed in to the cuff. These stripes taper towards the front and rise towards the back, alluding to Denver's increased elevation. The top stripe is silver and the bottom stripe is black but is swapped for aquamarine on the black base uniform. The "Avengers" wordmark is centered below the collar, which is trimmed in the same color as the corresponding sleeve cuff.

For the pants, the Avengers have silver and black base colors with striping mechanics that reflect the equivalent sleeve colors, except the silver-base set (which opts for an aquamarine top stripe). Denver's secondary "D" logo is located on each hip.

The team's jersey number set draws inspiration from the horns of the bighorn sheep. Numbers like the "2", "3", and "5" incorporate swooping curves that terminate at a point, not unlike those seen on the head of the state animal. Its general construction, paired with a thick drop shadow, give off a very 90s-style appeal.

These mockups were made with a modified and retextured Madden 20 on PC. The in-game screenshots were then used to create a composition in Photoshop.
