NASA CAMP2Ex Mission

The Clouds, Aerosol and Monsoon Processes-Philippines Experiment (CAMP²Ex) was an international NASA airborne science mission. Its primary goal was to determine how anthropogenic and natural aerosol particles influence the frequency and amount of warm and mixed-phase precipitation around the Philippines during the southwest monsoon. The project was conducted in partnership with local research and meteorological communities.

A logo and brand identity guidelines were developed in partnership with NASA. Two versions of the logo were created, one simplified and modern, and the other following the established trends in NASA mission design, which includes "complex" logos for traditional use in the form of patches. The logo incorporates the mission's name in the Filipino language. A solution was also found whereby the logo could include the year of the mission.

This approach ensured that the CAMP²Ex mission had a distinct visual identity that was both contemporary and in line with NASA's branding traditions.
