King Culture Records | Spot Illustration

Presenting the second spot illustration from the cultural hotspot map project commissioned by the City of Toronto / Cultural Hotspot, spotlighting the vibrant community of Eglinton West/Little Jamaica — a place close to my heart!

This artwork features the iconic King Culture Records, an essential pillar of Toronto’s reggae music scene. Through my illustration, I pay tribute to the store’s rich history and its role in fostering a deep connection to Jamaican culture within our city. Just like the timeless melodies that reverberate through its aisles, King Culture Records embodies the soul and spirit of Little Jamaica, welcoming music lovers from near and far.
