Book Cover Design for the Translation of "Perfume"

Back in 2019, I had the opportunity to design the book cover for the translation of "Perfume" by Patrick Süskind. This design was inspired by a striking photograph from the cinematic adaptation of the novel. My approach aimed to capture the haunting atmosphere of the story, where beauty and horror coexist. The imagery and composition reflect the novel’s dark, mysterious essence, particularly its exploration of obsession, identity, and sensory experiences. The design subtly hints at the protagonist’s journey, encapsulating the film's visual power while staying true to the book’s rich narrative.
