Portfolio hero imagery

A quick shot of the hero imagery for an agency website I worked on recently. The Media Group had some fantastic imagery from their design, video and live events portfolio and it was great fun working with these to produce hero imagery.

The heading typeface is Aller by Dalton Maag, body copy (not visible in this shot) was Frutiger. Each case study would have a project-specific lead colour, which would be applied throughout the page.

For hero imagery we defined quiet areas, creating a vignette to help keep the centre of the imagery sharp. We then used a soft-light treatment on the imagery to tie it in with the lead-colour.
