SB website presentation
The process of creating the design for the SB website began with a thorough analysis of the project's goals and objectives. We aimed to design a website that reflects the brand's philosophy—naturalness, simplicity, and ease. The initial stage involved market research and understanding the target audience to determine which design elements would best convey the brand's core values to users.
One of the main challenges was finding the balance between minimalism and functionality. We wanted the site to appear clean and streamlined without losing its usability and intuitive nature for users. The solution was to use simple yet thoughtful page layouts, where every detail served a purpose, with nothing extraneous distracting from the core information.
The second challenge was choosing the color palette. We sought to use natural, soft tones to emphasize the brand's authenticity. However, during the process, we encountered some color schemes that either looked too dull or lacked vibrancy. After a series of tests and discussions, we settled on a neutral palette with accent colors that bring freshness and create a sense of spaciousness.
Font selection also proved more complex than initially anticipated. We needed fonts that combined readability with the aesthetics of book design. After trying several options, we chose fonts with soft lines that are easy to read and evoke associations with book texts. This helped create a comfortable reading experience for the website’s information.
A significant stage was testing on different devices. We faced an issue where certain elements didn’t display clearly on mobile devices. Some visual details lost sharpness or disrupted the composition on smaller screens. To resolve this, we optimized all design elements for various resolutions, ensuring the site remained both user-friendly and visually appealing on large screens and mobile devices alike.
As a result, we created a design that conveys the brand’s core values—freedom, naturalness, and simplicity. The website is easy to navigate while being functional and modern. We successfully overcame all challenges thanks to attention to detail, thorough testing, and ongoing collaboration between designers and developers.
