Daft Punk Music Poster

I enjoyed creating a music poster for Daft Punk honoring their comeback to the stage after a long break as part of my school project. In keeping with Daft Punk's origins in dance music, the poster's soundtrack is funk with a modern electronic twist that generates a mesmerizing and danceable vibe.

Inspiration

I explored a variety of design platforms and took cues from Daft Punk's earlier albums in my hunt for inspiration. Known for their vivid use of color, Daft Punk's palette includes tones of blue, green, violet, pink, yellow, and green. I wanted to honor Daft Punk's distinctive style by utilizing vivid colors in a simple design, which is a recurring motif in their album covers.

Concept

The artwork mostly shows black emerging from white, signifying the comeback of vintage Daft Punk music. One of their album tracks, "Lose Yourself to Dance," captures the essence of the genre wonderfully and invites listeners to get lost in the beat. I added the words "Many doors to explore" beneath this statement. "But the doors look the same," is a remark by Daft Punk that reflects the concert's theme of new beginnings and a fresh start.

I continued to the top by including another song from their album, "Give Life Back to Music," which emphasized the idea of renewal. I positioned "Tribute" and "Daft Punk" vertically on the left and right sides to draw attention to the poster's simple design.
