Internal platform redesign
My role: UX Designer.
Goal: Redesign to define a UX friendly structure, according to internal employees real needs.
Main challenge: No clear structure and guidance on how to use the tool and their features.
Pain points:
• Different sections for similar requests
• Repetitive process for time registration
• Information is not easy to find, not possible to track pending processes
• Lack of a visual way to display information and reports
Solution includes:
• Minimalist UI
• Notifications banner for updates and reminders
• Possibility to add same information for several days
• Possibility to check anual period, with bank holidays and also with additional permissions
• Easy way to find channels to talk to HR for additional doubts regarding permissions and sensitive data
• Clear process with a stepper to check the status
