Café Grumpy – Brand Identity

Café Grumpy, a Paris-based coffee brand, sought to establish a unique identity that captured the essence of Parisian café culture while infusing it with a vibrant, modern twist. With shades of purple and orange as the primary colors, the aim was to evoke a sense of warmth, creativity, and sophistication.

Challenge

The challenge was to develop a brand identity and visual language that would resonate with Parisian locals and tourists alike, standing out in a city renowned for its rich coffee tradition. Additionally, the design needed to reflect the brand’s commitment to quality, community, and innovation.

I drew inspiration from the colorful streets of Paris and the eclectic energy of its cafés, I crafted a brand identity that seamlessly blends tradition with contemporary flair. Purple and orange were chosen as the main colors to symbolize richness, vitality, and warmth. Incorporating these colors into the overall brand identity, including packaging, signage, and digital assets, created a cohesive and memorable visual language. I utilized bold typography, clean layouts, and playful graphic elements to further enhance the brand’s identity and create a consistent brand experience across all touchpoints.

The Brand identity is adorned with intricate patterns, paying homage to Parisian artistry and craftsmanship. The typography is elegant yet playful, reflecting the brand’s welcoming and inclusive spirit.

Result

The result is a visually captivating brand identity that celebrates the unique character of Café Grumpy and its Parisian heritage. The bold use of purple and orange sets the brand apart in a crowded market, attracting attention and inviting customers to indulge in a truly memorable coffee experience. With its striking design and warm ambiance, Café Grumpy has become a beloved destination for coffee lovers in the heart of Paris.
