Pruning Festival Key visual Gérard Bertrand 2023

Context

The Pruning Festival is held every year by the Gérard Bertrand group to celebrate the pruning of vines and to offer optimal growth and harvesting. The aim was to represent an elegant universe, as this is a private event where guests participate by invitation only. The visual suggests a vine pruning in the foreground as a distinctive graphic element. The dove, a symbol of peace and harmony, is also featured, dear to the event's creator.

The vineyard is located in the Languedoc region of southern France, close to the sea.

The vines are treated biodynamically and are very sensitive to the lunar cycle. It was important to include the star in the visual.

The illustration uses light, simple and delicate color gradations.

The choice was made not to use any grain or effects to preserve the authenticity of the scene, as in its representation.

We craftly curated specific colors to represent the warm ambient of the earth, and the cool colors of autumn.

Delicately selected colors to represent the warm colors of the earth, and the cool colors of autumn.
