Overview
The Gut Biome Clinic needed a website redesign that conveyed the clinic’s expertise in gut health while maintaining a personal and approachable tone. The aim was to create a professional yet inviting user experience that highlights key services and conditions treated at the clinic, while also providing an opportunity for the founder, Greta, to personally connect with potential clients.
Problem
The clinic wanted to position itself as a leader in gut health and functional nutrition, but without the typical sterile or clinical feel often associated with medical websites. The challenge was creating a homepage that balanced professionalism with a warm, personal touch.
Approach
To ensure the site felt personal and engaging, I incorporated a sticky video of Greta, the clinic’s founder, that expands and collapses as users scroll. This feature allows Greta to introduce herself and the clinic’s values in a direct and approachable way. The design also highlights key services and conditions, making it easy for users to find relevant information while ensuring the layout is clean and user-friendly.
Solution
✷ Sticky Intro Video: A collapsible video of Greta that remains visible as users scroll through the page, allowing her to introduce herself and the clinic’s mission. The video can be expanded or collapsed, providing flexibility for the user experience.
✷ Clear Service and Condition Sections: Key services and conditions are prominently displayed, ensuring that visitors can quickly find the information they need.
✷ Personalised Design: The homepage is designed with large, inviting imagery and minimal text to create a welcoming atmosphere. Sections for client testimonials and exceptional healthcare further enhance the trustworthiness of the clinic.
