This Visual Identity Will Never Exist

Radio Ondine

Radio Ondine is a small station with a name that combines the French word onde (wave) and Undine, the mythical water nymph.

Inspired by this unique pun, I created a visual identity that embodies the station's dynamic and fresh spirit. The logo, fonts, and colours were all selected to reflect the fluidity and energy of radio waves and the mythical but yet contemporain imagery.

64 sketches

👆 The process was intense—I drew 64 sketches before finalising the design. 8 hours of work. Each sketch was a step towards a visual identity that felt alive, flowing like the waves and full of energy.

Replaced by AI

However, for the first time in my career, my work was replaced by a logo generated by AI. Despite offering to do the job for free, the speed and cost-effectiveness of AI took precedence. It was a moment of reflection on how technology is reshaping our industry. 👇

This project, though never used, still holds meaning for me as it represents the evolving nature of design in the face of AI.
