Upcycling fashion to reduce waste

Stories to Wear is a fashion brand operating in Berlin. It operates according to the philosophy of upcycling gives new life to old clothes and fabrics. Stories to Wear is a part of the circular economy. This model is about keeping raw materials in circulation for as long as possible in order to reduce waste generation.

We designed the brand's visual identity. It was important to refer to the idea of upcycling. The starting point was the keywords: exchange, movement, circulation, "second life" of wardrobes. To conceive the design of the logo, we relied on the letters S and W (Stories to Wear). We processed the letters to give the impression of them being associated with creative processing, reuse, craftsmanship, tailoring spools.

The pattern is the second important element of identification. It is inspired by the form of the punches and textures of the materials. A lively colour palette is the brand's trademark.
