Sashi tales YouTube channel brand identity

Hello everyone🖐️

This is my new project: designing the visual identity for a newly established YouTube channel called "Sashi", which focuses on storytelling—specifically, ancient and Iranian folk tales.

This project also marked my first experience designing a Persian logotype. Despite its possible imperfections, I really enjoyed the process.

While working on this visual identity, I aimed to create a warm and cozy feel, while also ensuring that the brand’s Iranian roots are clearly visible.

For the color palette, I drew inspiration from images that remind me of Iran, as well as traditional Iranian paintings and the colors used in old structures and tilework. Eventually, we arrived at the palette you see now.

When choosing the font, I prioritized simplicity and legibility to avoid making the design too cluttered, especially with the textures incorporated in the logotype and other elements.

Finally, for the patterns and decorative graphics, I used motifs inspired by traditional Iranian art, so that anyone who sees them would be reminded of Iran.
