Woven Fabric Making Process by Sulawesi Woman

Woven Fabric Making Process by Sulawesi Woman

Weaving is a technique for making fabric by alternating groups of longitudinal threads into groups of transverse threads. The group of threads that run parallel to the length of the fabric is called the warp, and the group that is inserted across the warp is called the weft. The weft threads are woven alternately above and below the warp threads. Woven fabrics are usually made from wood fiber,

cotton, silk, and others. So, here's I made illustration of woven fabric making process by Sulawesi Woman.
