Field Guide to Jekyll Cover

I'm currently in the process of writing my first book. The title of the book is Field Guide to Jekyll. And you can probably guess, the book is about the Ruby static-site generator called Jekyll.

For those who aren't familiar with Jekyll it is great for folks who are tired of dealing with databases, security problems and bloated code just to setup a website. Instead Jekyll takes simple text files (think markup) and generates a website. This lets you focus on what is more fun which is designing and building a great site and creating awesome content for it.

In the book I'll be covering topics like how to properly setup Google Analytics to track only your production server, using Front Matter with Jekyll's Liquid Template to create dynamic-like content, how to create landing pages for products within the same Jekyll project and more.
