A personal project prompted by an issue that emerged during the lockdown, when getting meaningful, unique gifts became more difficult due to the lack of in-person purchasing opportunities. This issue was particularly significant to me, so I designed Giftu Mobile App to improve my UX/UI abilities while solving a real-world problem. The project allowed me to employ best practices and creative methods to create a smooth and intuitive gifting experience.

Concept

Giftu was conceived to redefine the gifting experience by making it more meaningful and personalized. In today’s fast-paced world, where time is limited and choices are overwhelming, selecting the perfect gift can be both stressful and impersonal. This mobile app is designed to streamline the decision-making process, enabling users to find and purchase a gift that goes beyond a mere object, transforming it into a thoughtful and emotional gesture (even and especially if one is far away).

The app allows you to share the insights and answers that guided your gift selection with your loved one, providing a unique glimpse into your thoughtful process. You can preview and customize your message to add a personal touch, enhancing the overall gift-giving experience.

In your shopping cart, you have the option to personalize the packaging and gift card to match your preferences. You can also configure shipping details and select your preferred payment method, ensuring a seamless and tailored checkout experience.
