Eve's Divine Punishment

Eve is beautifully at peace as displayed in this painting. Life begins with her and I wanted to show such life with the vibrant fruit the surrounds her. Yet, because of her actions you see the decay of the fruit as you descend to the end of the painting. Like Adam, I placed the golden halo around her to show her god-like persona - her beauty, simplicity, and holiness (before the fall).
