Sweet-Melon Photography Studio
What is another version of "say cheese"?
We found out, from our travels in Asian countries, that some may very well ask their subjects "is the watermelon sweet". The reply is a predictable "tian", or sweet, in Mandarin.
The act of pronouncing the character, shown on the logo and encapsulated in a word bubble that conforms with a standard camera shutter design, produces a similar yet subtlety different grin on one's face.
Some argue that it induces a wider grin that includes the same eye muscle group of a smile. We could not find any logos of similar concepts from our Internet search. Curious to find out whether a fruity watermelon could go well with a mechanical shutter for a photographic studio, we created the design for all the see. You be the judge.
