CVS - A redesign of a healthcare application

I revamped several screens of the CVS healthcare application to resolve issues present in the outdated design. By enhancing the user experience through a more strategic and user-centric approach, I created a cleaner, more intuitive interface that better aligns with users' healthcare needs and provides a smoother, more efficient interaction.

For my redesign of the CVS healthcare application, I focused on improving usability, accessibility, and user experience by addressing several key areas:

  1. Home Page Overhaul:

    • I enhanced the layout by making the search functionality more prominent, allowing users to quickly locate products.

    • The product categories were simplified and made more accessible, offering a cleaner, more intuitive browsing experience for users looking for personal care, medicines, or family care products.

    • I improved the "Recommended for You" section, making it visually consistent and ensuring that product recommendations are clearly displayed with important details like pricing and rating.

  2. Improved Checkout Process:

    • In the cart section, I streamlined the product listing to provide users with clearer details about the items they are purchasing, along with discount offers. The redesigned layout includes visual cues for better readability and ease of interaction.

    • Shipping information is clearly integrated into the process, allowing users to select their preferred shipping method with ease, and ensuring that delivery dates are prominently displayed.

  3. Simplified Account Management:

    • I redesigned the account page to make prescription management, purchases, health records, and saved products more accessible. The overall structure was improved for quick navigation, allowing users to find their most-used features with minimal effort.

    • Key actions such as editing personal details, managing payment methods, and handling security settings are now more intuitive and easy to access.

  4. Enhanced Store Locator:

    • The store locator was upgraded to not only display nearby locations but also to provide essential details such as store hours, available services, and pharmacy information (like whether a drive-thru or flu vaccine is available).

    • Users can now set their preferred CVS location with one click, simplifying the process of store selection for frequent visitors.

  5. Optimized Prescription Management and Rewards Integration:

    • I redesigned the prescription management interface, making it more user-friendly and integrating it with the rewards program. Users can now view their prescriptions and manage refills while easily accessing deals, making the process more seamless.

These improvements elevate the user experience across the app, making it more responsive, user-centric, and efficient.
