MGC 147: Mise Icon
Mise is short for Mise En Place, which is a French phrase often used in professional kitchens. Mis En Place roughly translates to "everything in its place." It refers to the practice of preparing and organizing all the ingredients, tools, and equipment needed for cooking before starting to cook.
To me, it can apply to more than just the pep work that goes into cooking. Mis En Place could be a way of doing life, if we allow it.
I decided to make a mark that would remind me that everything has its place, even when the place is hard to find.
