Cacto Health, based in Denmark, specializes in healthcare technology with a focus on breast cancer-related diseases and their early detection for prevention. One of our primary concerns is Lymphedema, a chronic and progressive vascular disease that arises from damage to the lymphatic system, often following lymph node removal and radiation therapy in breast cancer treatments. This condition causes swelling in the arm on the side of the body that received treatment, affecting 50-65% of breast cancer survivors.
The mission of Cacto Health is to empower women to detect breast cancer-related Lymphedema early. I have crafted a brand identity that is both caring and supportive while maintaining a modern aesthetic. The logo, inspired by the fluid shapes, curves, and nodes, represents the lymphatic system and aims to raise awareness about this condition.
I aimed to create a warmer brand feeling than that of classic medtech companies, intending to give the impression of friendly support. Clean yet bright colors were chosen to evoke a sense of comfort, and modern typography was used to bring a sense of trust and reliability in the healthcare context.
