EverWrite Case Study

With Newsela’s new launch of a web-based version of EverWrite (an AI writing assistant), there needed to be an efficient way to incorporate a question system for when the AI algorithm may have outputted an incorrect answer. This is 1 of 2 case studies I made for Newsela, working directly with Co-Founder Dan Cogan-Drew to revamp their products utilizing my youth perspective.

My Role

Using my age and connections as a high school senior, I worked on addressing the problems with EverWrite’s AI system as well as possible concerns that would be a problem with implementing this into a classroom. Throughout the process, I consistently consulted teachers and other students for their perspective in the creative process for their insight.
